*** Want something colorful, but not Herky Jerky?  I DO like to piece normal quilts with my batik fabrics.  Check out my newest designs, the 7 Fat Quarter Backpack or Tote Bag in the handbag/totes section of the catalog, and the 7 Fabric Mitered Corners Quilt in the What's New section.  Both are opportunities to play with the colored fabrics I have always enjoyed, but without the Herky Jerky feeling!  Otherwise, enjoy browsing through the online catalog and I look forward to hearing from you.

Within my Herky Jerky designs, I now offer two methods to enjoy this stitching.  First, you can Herky Jerky stitch "manually".  Yes, you are the free motion controller of your sewing machine.  The other option is to own an embroidery machine and use my Herky Jerky CD's that I have digitized to stitch out my Herky Jerky designs.  Most of the designs are stained glass or direct appliqué themes.  All of the designs feature my technique , "Herky Jerky" which is a thread stitching scribble along the edges of fusible appliqué pieces.  It provides a quick and cheap answer to stained glass creations and it allows you to work in much smaller pieces than what the "fusible tape" method allows.
